About Omid Ghibi
Like many Iranians, Omid Ghibi started learning art techniques in his teenage years, experiencing different techniques in the field of carpets—from restoration to dyeing—to become a master collector and trader.
A Legacy of Excellence
Like many Iranians, Omid Ghibi started learning art techniques in his teenage years, but like others, he did not limit himself to one technique and experienced different techniques in the field of carpets; from restoration to dyeing. In all those years, he studied and learned and became proficient in the field of carpet business step by step.
First, he settled in Europe to collaborate with a collection. After a few years, after evaluating the business conditions of hand-woven Iranian carpets, he chose Japan to start his independent activity and established a company called JUTAN MAINTENANCE. Co. ltd. After being in this country for a while, he accepted the offer to join the board of directors of the Iranian Hand-woven Carpet Union in Japan. Omid Ghibi is one of the most effective traders of hand-woven carpets in Japan, and many exhibitions have been organized with his help and management.
In addition to trading in hand-woven carpets, Ghibi is also a collector of works of art, especially hand-woven carpets. In his collection, antique carpets and fabrics are collected, which are seen in few collections and are very rare.
